Air Guards insecticide Konk, produces a level of approximately 0.006 mg/cu metre when used in our dispenser which is 1/850 of the recommended safe level. This is hundreds of times safer than other common air pollutants such as cigarette smoke
Is it safer to spray aerosols than it is to use a Konk dispenser?
If the aerosols contain pyrethrin, then there is no question of safety, whether hand held or dispensed. However, when using a hand-held aerosol, consider the following - an average 5-10 second burst creates a pyrethrin level equivalent to the total emitted in 2 days from the Konk dispenser.
What happens to Konk insecticide when it is dispersed into the air?
A study carried out at the University of Illionis continues to prove that the pyrethrin in Konk degrade along with the other ingredients used so that there is no detectable residue found after days of use.
